Gracias a su construcción estudiada, Méribel Motarret es un centro de esquí casi 100% a pies de pistas. Idealmente situada en pleno corazón del dominio esquiable de los 3 Vallés.
Una gran pista desciende hacia el centro de la estación y pasa al lado de las principales residencias del centro de esquí.


Los barrios


Se situan entre 1700 y 1800 m de altitud.

En Méribel Mottaret, las carreteras pasan detrás de los edificios, lo que permite pasar una estadía en calma y serenidad incomparable dentro de los 3 vallées.

  • Mottaret centro, parte baja de Laitelet, con numerosos comercios y restaurantes.
    Parada de autobús : Oficina de Turismo, Orionde.
  • El Laitelet, justo por ensima del centro, barrio principalmente residencial, fácil acceso gracias al funicular de Chalets.
    Parada de autobús  : Téléporté, Provères, Laitelet.
  • El Hameau situado en la cima del centro de esquí con su propio centro comercial, este barrio es accesible igualmente mediante el funicular de Chalets.
    Parada de autobús : Arolles, Hameau.
  • El Chatelet esta separado de Laitelet  por el centro comercial, el mismo posee numerosos centros comerciales y el jardín de infantes. Acceso directo a las pistas de esquí nórdico. Sendero para ir al Lago de Tueda sin tener que pasar por la ruta.

MOverse en el centro de esquí


En carro

En condiciones normales, usted puede desplazarse tranquilamente de un lado a otro del centro de esquí. Sin embargo, piense a utilizar los autobuses gratuitos. 
No intente utilizar su coche cuando hay nieve en la ruta sin en el equipamiento apropiado pensando que no va haber ningún problema, porque la mayoría de las veces si los hay !
Si hace frío, pruebe de arrancar su coche un dia antes de su partida. Si su bateria muestra signos de debilidad, o directamente ningún signo, usted tendrá un día más para poder partir tranquilamente de la montaña.

Estacionamiento

Muy cerca de las residencias, usted encontrará plazas de aparcamiento gratuitas (no cubiertas). Solo los estacionamientos del centro de la estación tienen que ser abonados.
En los períodos de mayor afluencia, le aconsejamos aparcar en el primer lugar libre que encuentre, deje su coche y circule en los autobuses el resto de su estadía.
Un estacionamiento cubierto y vigilado con camaras esta a su disposición en el Hameu (abonado).
Proponemos igualmente, alquiler de plazas de aparcamiento cubiertas. Para esto, dirijáse directamente a la agencia

En bus

Desde las estaciones de tren y aeropuertos
Se puede tomar los autobuses de Altibus. Tienen que reservar directamente online.

En el centro de esqui
Una conexión de autobuses gratuitos esta asegurado entre los diferentes barrios del centro de esquí, y otra permite llegar a Méribel centro.
Según las línéas, están en servicIo de 7h30 à 23h30 (passan aproximadamente todos los 20 à 30 minutos durante el día).
Por la noche, de 20h a 23h30, los autobuses pasan aproximadamente cada hora.
Evite las horas pico de 16h30 à 17h30, porque los autobuses están llenos de esquiadores.
Pida el mapa y horarios de MERIBUS a su llegada.
 

En taxi o en teleféricos

Usted encontrará numerosos taxi en la estación.
Pero no se atrapan sobre la ruta. Para coger un taxi, existen paradas especifícas (sobre todo en Méribel Centro).

En temporada alta, para ir a Méribel Mottaret desde los aeropuertos o la estación de trenes, la reservación es obligatoria y debe hacerse muy pronto (2 meses al menos). La agencia puede hacer tu reserva de taxi.

Un teleférico instalado a dos pasos del centro de la estación asegura la conexión entre el centro, el Laitelet y el Hameau.
El horario del "funicular de Chalets" es 8h45 à 19h30.

Mottaret le permitira de descubrir las ventajas de estar en un centro de esquí a los pies de las pistas, no podrás prescindir de este privilegio.
De hecho, la mayoría de nuestras residencias están ubicadas al lado de las pistas. Sólo te queda ponerte las botas esquí o caminar máximo 300 metros, ¡y te encontrarás en la zona de esquí más grande del mundo!

Algunos consejos para aprovechar su día de esquí.

  • Escuche R’Meribel (97.9 et 98.9)
    Todas las mañanas, por la radio, usted tendrá todas las informaciones sobre las pistas abiertas, las previsiones del clima, la temperatura, el estado de la nieve, en francés y en inglés.
     
  • Aproveche del mejor momento del día.
    Evite de ir entre 9h30 et 10h30, esquíe entre las 12 h et 14 h para más tranquilidad.
     
  • No se pierda en las pistas.
    Mapas de las pistas están a su disposición en numerosos lugares en el centro de esquí o en la agencia. En cada remontés usted verá carteles a seguir para evitar las esperas en las remontés, e igualmente las pistas pisadas en la noche anterior.
  • Manténgase informado de las últimas partidas para volver al Vallé de Méribel, desde Courchevel, los Menuires o Val Thorens.
     
  • Equipése lo mejor posible
    Vea el termómetro antes de partir a esquiar y equipése correctamente. Si usted no posee termómetro, pruebe quedarse sobre el balcón para probar su resistencia al frío
    El uso de casco es obligatorio para los niños y aconsejado para los adultos, y más si usted tiene tendencia a transformarse en un "free rider" o en bola de nieve.
    Haga verificar las fijaciones y el estado de sus esquíes antes de su primera salida.
     
  • No se prive de tomar lecciones de esquí
    Son los esquiadores que controlan mejor y aprovechan más.
    Algunas escuelas de esquí proponen salidas fuera de pista, no dude en tomar lecciones con ellos: le darán los consejos para que usted se sienta bien cuando haga fuera de pista.
     
  • Esquíe en seguridad
    De preferencia, quedése en los senderos señalizados. Si usted quiere absolutamente hacer fuera de pista, pregunte sobre la estabilidad del manto de nieve antes de seguir los pasos de otros esquiadores y trate de estar siempre acompañado.
    La persona que ha hecho esas lindas líneas que usted ve desde la ventanta de los funiculares probablemente era completamente inconsciente o puede ser que sean marcas del dí anterior.
    Los fuera de pistas son peligrosos, sea prudente !

The Alpine Skiing

The 3 Vallées ski area is the largest one in the world, with over 600 km of tracks all interrelated. Méribel valley is situated in the heart of this area, surrounded by Courchevel and Belleville valleys.
Mottaret is the cross point of all the routes of the 3 Vallées.

Children and beginners have found their paradise!
Right in the centre of Méribel Mottaret, come to discover the fully protected areas dedicated to ski learning! 2 conveyors (Ourson and Doron) and their slopes are easily accessible for free from the centre of Mottaret. A brand-new area with a draglift and a conveyor is open in front of the residences of Le Hameau!

Good news for sledge lovers!
Two sledge areas are installed at the very heart of Mottaret: free and fully protected from the skier’s flows, these will host the aficionados of sledging and laughers! Open every day during the season and by all weather’s conditions. Once or twice a week, these areas are open for night sledging sessions starting from the Combes chairlift!

Stay connected when you are skiing!
Tweeter, Facebook, Instagram… we all want to share our best moments with our loved ones. To make it easier for you, the resort deploys gradually WIFI access throughout the ski area with specially-designed venues to take original snaps!

Summer season


The green pastures, doted by rocks and screes, offer to the hikers such a fascinating show: marmots warm their red fur in the sun, alpine ibexes and chamois flutter about from one rock to another while the quiet stream flows down the valley… There is so much to see in summer…

BY FOOT…

  • For an easy walk in a preserved setting, discover Tueda Natural Reserve, 10 minutes walking from Mottaret centre. Botanic path, home reserve, restaurant of the lake, pasture farm producing Beaufort cheese, fly-fishing and restaurant Refuge du Plan… come and discover one of the most pleasant area of the valley. Accessible to leashed pets.
  • Great hiker? Les Allues valley, where Méribel-Mottaret is located, is part of the Vanoise National Park. Lacs de Mont Coua, Glacier de Gébroulaz, Col du Soufre, Col de Chanrossa… all these names will actually mean something to you after walking in the first national park created in France!
  • To admire the summits effortlessly, you may use the lifts to reach the top of La Saulire (2738m) or Tougnète (2400m).
  • Walks and activities: follow La Truite! This famous ski slope linking Mottaret centre to La Chaudanne transforms into a pleasant walk in summer. Follow the Doron river and its thematical ‘along the water’ path, look at the mountain bike riders on the wooden modules and try to climb on the artificial walls!

 

BY BIKE…

  • Train yourself like a Tour de France competitor on the greatest Savoie climbs! Time your climb from Brides-les-Bains or Moûtiers to Meribel Altiport thank to the boxes alongside the road which register your time at each stage. Information at the Tourist Office!
  • And if you want to live again the thrill experienced during Tour de France 2020's 17th stage at Col de la Loze, do not miss a ride there! Whether your are equipped with a classic or elecric bike, experienced cyclist or simply amateur, everyone can discover this now mythical pass of Tour de France!There are also events organised each year from Brides-les-Bains, Courchevel and Meribel. A good occasion to relive the amazing final stage of the 17th stage, won by Miguel Angel Lopez, followed by the 2 Slovenes: the one who was then Yellow jersey and expected winner Primoz Roglic, closely followed by the future surprise winner 21-year-old Tadej Pogacar, who won precisous points during the ascent of Col de la Loze!
  • Meribel hosted the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Finals in 2014 and the Trial World Cup in 2013. Since then, the resort equipped itself with a great bike park: 8 DH tracks, 9 enduro tracks, 3 XC tracks, 4 lifts + ski busses with bike’s trailer, 3 bike wash stations, one after-bike area and 4 bike patrols dedicated to the upkeeping and safety.


HORSE-BACK RIDING

  • The Nordic Ranch welcomes you at Bois d’Arbin, between Mottaret-centre and La Chaudanne for lessons and rides in the Valley.  


ON THE GREEN

  • Golf lovers are going to be thrilled! In Méribel-Altiport, dominated by Dent de Burgin, the 18 holes golf offers an amazing panorama and quality green for beginners and experts. Information here.
  • And for all the family, Mottaret hosts a mini-golf !

 

IN THE AIR

  • To enjoy the best possible view of the valley, get high! Paragliding is the good option for tranquillity and breath-taking sceneries.
  • Go a bit further and fly over Tarentaise valleys and even Mont Blanc (4810m) from Méribel Altiport.
  • Wander around the tree tops with Méribel adventure park, in Bois d’Arbin, between Mottaret-centre and La Chaudanne.
